Thermo-Board Cladding Installation

Mar 2025 - We were called to restore a weather-damaged gable end on a thatched property in Hampshire. The original vertical timber cladding had become warped and uneven, affecting both the appearance and protection of the structure.

Our team began by carefully removing the existing cladding and tiles from the adjoining roof area. We then levelled and reinforced the cladding framework to ensure a strong and even base. Once prepped, we installed high-quality thermo-board horizontal cladding, creating a clean, durable, and attractive finish that complements the character of the property.

New roof completed in Verwood.

Feb 2025 - After being contacted to provide a quote for a property in Verwood, Dorset, following the customer noticing a sag in the roof. Upon inspection, we found that all the external rafters were extensively rotted. After discussing the best course of action with the customer, we agreed that replacing the timber was essential, as all four gables showed significant signs of rot. In addition to replacing the timber, we also replaced the roof felt, battens, and tiles with new, modern materials to ensure the roof's long-term durability and security.

Slate re-lay in Fordingbridge.

Dec 2024 - We were contacted by a homeowner in Fordingbridge who required a slate roof re-lay, including the safe removal and reinstallation of their existing solar panels. Our team began by carefully removing the panels and securing them to avoid any damage to the units or surrounding roof structure. We then stripped the existing natural slate and replaced the old felt and battens with high-performance, breathable materials to enhance both weather resistance and ventilation. Once the roof structure was fully prepared, we re-laid the original slate, topping up with matching replacements where necessary to account for any broken or missing.

With the slate securely back in place, we reinstalled the solar panels to ensure proper function and a clean, professional finish.The project was completed efficiently and with minimal disruption. The customer was extremely pleased with the result, and, as with all our work, the project is backed by our comprehensive guarantee for added peace of mind. Darren responded quickly to our request to repair a leak, provide an estimate for the work which was undertaken within 3 weeks. He was prompt, pleasant, extremely professional and finished the replacement of old lead flashing within one day. He also replaced some broken tiles and gave us advice about possible future work that may be necessary but purely for our information and with no pressure. We would definitely recommend him.
